On the main stage
Astronomers tell us the main event – THE ECLIPSE – is definitely going to happen, but we’re still pinning down our artists. This is a family camp-in event so the music will be varied and fun.

Early morning yoga, breathwork, a drum circle – the folks at Spiral Bodies want to help you make the eclipse a holistic and spiritual event. Click here to see the schedule!

bring your bikes!
Bloomington is in the center of scenic rural biking options and off-road trails. Use your bikes to go into and around town or follow the path from Karst Farm Park.
hiking
There are so many great hikes around Bloomington and spring is a terrific time to enjoy them – lower temperatures and fewer bugs! Shadowfest will offer shuttle service to and from several trailheads.
balloon rides
Sadly, it isn’t safe for hot air balloons to be in the air in mid-afternoon, so taking a ride while the actual eclipse is happening isn’t possible, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy getting closer to the sun at another time over the weekend. Rides will be offered by Balloons Over Bloomington.

Celebrate TWO once-in-a-lifetime events at the same time! You can BYO officiant and get married on top of your RV, or you can class it up a bit and book one of our wedding packages. The packages will include champagne, cake and dancing. If you think you might be interested we want to speak with you in person, so please send us a note via our Contact Page as soon as possible. All partnerships welcome.
after the eclipse
You’ve just shared a mind-blowing event with a group of like-minded folks, so leave the car parked for a little while longer and let yourself marinate in that feeling of oneness with the universe for a while after the event. Take a moment to capture your thoughts in writing and talk to our videographers, who will be putting together a wrap-around video of the event. The Eclipse ends at 4:22pm, but gates won’t close until 7pm.
